Alan Caudel's Dummy Duck 7

Post by aderack »

Hey! Sort of an interesting development. Alan Caudel of the Dummy Duck webcomic (a person who, I will specify, is not me) is now working on a varied NES styled DOS-based adventure-platformer thing.

I've been following it for a while, but now he's got a teaser trailer. There's a bunch of stuff in there.

Aside from Beats of Rage, has there been much other DOS-based game development lately?

That certainly looks neat, if a bit underdetailed :)

If you don't mind, I will once again take the liberty to invite you to the RGB Classic Games Forums :)

The visual style is minimal, but clean. It's going after a cartoony look, I'm guessing, to go with the webcomic. Well, that crossed with the NES palette with its accordant sprite and tile color limitations. I think it's pretty appealing.

Didn't realize that RGB Classic Games had a forum. I'll head on over and take a gander!
