Don't worry, you can find Tyrian at a lot of non-linkable sites :shifty: . As for games I'd like to see become freeware.....
Commander Keen 1-6 + Dreams, Duke Nukem 1 & 2, Raptor: Call of the Shadows, Strife, Jazz Jackrabbit (I think they're still bringin' in a lot o' dough with this one though), Stunts, Warcraft, and TIM (The Incredible Machine), Scorched Earth.

But that doesn't matter! OMF 2097 was turned to freeware when they were even making money off of it. Just send everything!!

Same with Dink Smallwood.

DOOM I AND II - No. They are making Doom 3, you will never get it turned to freeware if they are making a new one.

Warcraft- no, same reason.

Jazz Jackrabbit - If they are making money off it still, then there is no chance.

And al of you, i would like the company names and website if possible. As much info as possable would be easier.

Obviously, you weren't listening. They were making money off of Dink Smallwood and One Must Fall: 2097, and yet they became freeware.

most companys do not sell those games anyways. There is a third-party sdite that sells them. The link is put up by the company, but they are totaly unrelated.

P.S. OMF 2097 is WAY older than jazz jackrabbit

And Dink Smallwood was released in 1998, 3 years AFTER jazz jackrabbit.

Idiots...

Not Abandonware, Warez. IIRC, Tyrian is still being sold. Anyone who downloads it is commiting piracy.

Nasty: I haven't used AOL in over a month, and this topic itself is over 4 months old.
