DOS Games Discussion

Hi,

I've been looking for an old game I used to play when I was a kid.
I guess it was a DOS game but i'm not sure.
All I remember is this :
-You were playing as an African child.
-The game was situated in Africa.(Or atleast it looked like it)
-You had to find water or else you would dehydrate.
-There were lions who could attack you.

That's all I remember. I know it's not much but it would mean alot to me if you guys could help me out. I've been looking a long time.

I guess an adventure game.
Like an open world?
I remember you had to find water quick, before you died.
And when I was searching for water, there were these lions attacking me.
It seemed like a very hard game, but at the time I was probably like 5 or 6 years old. I guess it was released around 1995 - 1998
