In future supranational corporations fight against each other. One of them hires player to destroy it's rivals one by one. (S)he has a Raptor fighter plane in use to annihilation. It's time to get some money to arm the angel of destruction.
After signed in and selected face, player buys more armor from armament dealer. After each wave (s)he can save game. When sector's destroyed, skill rises by one and after Elite's done, game continues endlessly. Game can also be trained by first 4 waves. The higher the skill, the more enemies.
Player faces helicopters, different fighters, anti-aircraft cannons and one or 2 bosses in each wave. Some follows Raptor and shoots there, where plane is. That's why I hate some cannons. Enemies withstands many hits so fighter's shield lows rapidly. Kamikaze hit to boss lows it's shield too. In first three skills plane's normal shield increases if not fire.
Player gets money from destroying enemy buildings and vechicles and from nuggets and money cointainers. First weapon is Raptor's machine cannons. Four more can be collected from field, others must be bought: More shields, 3 cannons, strenght scanner. If thou don't like a weapon, sell it. (Thou'lt get only 40% of it's price. Heeeheehee... ) Plane can carry only 5 extras hields and bombs. Register it! Thou'lt love the Laser Turret!
Graphics are horrible, sound effects ok, but there's only 5 songs! 1 o' 'em's good, 2 boring. Also they're played stupidly. It'd be better if they'd played in order 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 1, 2, 3, 4.
Player hears boring ones 2 or 3 times. And what on Earth does mouse control
in shoot 'em up?!
Raptor isn't best of genre, but good enough to register, thanks to masses o' enemies. Mountain King may sell Windows version and it's cheaper too. If thou like Tyrian like games, download and register.
