Getting Ravage (Raptor port) to work in Dosbox

Hi Guys,
Thanks in advance for the possible answers.
I've been trying to get Ravage (some sort of Raptor port) made by AlphaHelix to work. Did everything right in dosbox, but when I've ran the setup.exe and then try to start the game, it gives me a bunch of info with a final line saying "Thank you for playing Ravage".
I wanted to post a screenshot, but appearantly I need to register for that which I couldn't get to work
Anyone experienced the same thing with Ravage, or anyone that can help me out here?
Thanks,
K

OS?
Mount lines?
Inputs to run the game?
Why is the sound set to Gravis?
Why is the dosbox prompt on D:\> ?

WinXP
Mount d e:\ravage
none (ravage.exe), tried /j and /et, didn't work.
no idea, tried to change it using the Setup.exe utility, put it on "no sound", wouldn't run. also tried "sound blaster", setup utility said that the settings were okay and i could hear sound, still wouldn't work.
C:\ contained "e:\raptor", so i mounted D:\ to contain "e:\ravage"

OK, back to the basics with you.
To get your game running follow these instructions:
Create a folder
e:\oldgames\
Open dosbox config and under header [autoexec] add those lines:
[autoexec]
mount c e:\oldgames
c:
So that when you run dosbox you'll see a C:\> prompt ready to run your games
More explanation@ http://www.dosgames.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5443
Now in WinXP:
Move that \ravage\ folder to d:\oldgames\ so that you get
e:\oldgames\ravage\ (still in Win here), that's your Windows path, dosbox will see this as c:\ravage\ , capiche?
Next point, still in Windows, check if your folder ànd files aren't write protected. (MUST do ! )
Now, run dosbox, input
cd ravage
Your dosbox prompt now must be:
c:\ravage>
Input
setup
Click on the + sign besides 'sound driver' till you see 'soundblaster'
You should here music now.
Click on "save and exit".
To run the game, input
<strike>savage</strike> ravage
on your dosbox c:\ravage> prompt.
That's it.
From now on put all your dosgames in e:\oldgames\game_whatever_folder\
e:\oldgames\ will always be your virtual C: root in dosbox.

Woah, lets see where this takes me.
Well, followed you all the way in until the step where I have to input "Savage". Savage doesn't exist, so you could mean "Ravage", but that doesn't work (same as usual).
edit: the write-protected thingy in WinXP did the trick. Removed it, and there we are
Thanks a million+1!
