I could type a long story how this is ruining gaming or something but in the end, it's just the tutorial-level and you won't survive the entire game playing like that.
And people get what they pay for: a war-themed rollercoasterride.

That youtube thingy is more a perfect example of what modern FPS games are in SP mode, (I'm not talking about multiplayer gaming).
Remember Crysis? Boring in SP, completely dumbed down.
Crysis 2 a bit better, but still a boring SP game.
Halo, the same.
Etcetera, most modern FPS games are completely worthless and boring in SP.
In fact I even wonder why they implement a SP game.
Qua SP gameplay they are nothing more then a mediocre railshooter.

The worst is games like Unreal that have team-based SP games... where the enemy team is gung-ho on doing their job properly (and really well) and YOUR team is gung-ho on sucking hard.
