help: Old dos horror game, forgot the name

I'm having trouble remembering the name of this game, the story goes, the player starts off with his car crashed(someone might be in the back seat hurt or something) and he has to go down the road into an old house, if the player tries to go back to his car he is killed by like a wolf or something. If he walks onward he finds an old house. Inside i think you can pick up an severed arm you find, it has a yellow sleeve i think, which is located in the kitchen. Among other things in the house is a key. I also think if you go into some bedroom a bunch of monsters end up killing you. I can't remember the name i had it a while ago, not sure if it was shareware or something, if anyone knows the name let me know.

nah, it wasn't hugo's house of horrors, it may have had "dark" in the title. But it wasn't darkseed, or alone in the dark.

Are you sure it was DOS?

Anyway, it might be a Gabriel Knight game. I only played the first one briefly, and I don't remember much about it...

Damn people, Have you no memory? This game is the Dark convergence. It was on Dosgames.com some time ago, but I have yet to find it again... I remember the first night I played it, and scared the shit out of myself.

Oh man, this game gave me the jibblies... "OH GOD GET OUT OF THE ROOM! GET OUT OF THE ROOM! AGH! OH NO! IT'S TOO LATE, YOU'VE KILLED US ALL WITH YOUR SLOW DOS WALKING!" I had to stop playing on account of people were trying to sleep.

is this the dark congrievance game? It also sounds slightly like the NES game "The Uninvited" which is also a GREAT game... i loved those games... i swear, the top 3 NES games
