DOS Games Discussion

I remember about 7 years ago (i would guess) i played this game with my friend on my computer, i think it had the word hero in the title and i am pretty sure it was made by some person not a big company. I dont remember a lot about the game however.
The game im pretty sure was shareware and you could play about 20 or so different levels without regestering it with tthe creator.
when you started the game you could pick how many players you wanted (i think up to 4) and they were all playing on the one keyboard. there was fighter, mage, ?healer?, and the one i remember for sure was druid. The druid could make trees apear on the ground anywhere he wanted to help create bariers of sort to keep bad guys out.
The story of the game i dont remember that well but each map was fairly big and you could exit it from normaly 3 or so directions after you had killed all the guys on the screen.
The last thing i can remember for sure about the game was that if you hit enter it would say "YO" on your speakers and display it in the middle of the screen (pretty random but i remember that clearly for some reason)
badly wanted to play this game and have been searching for a while, i dont expect many people to know of this game but any help on places i might search would be great, thanx a lot

I am the person that started this post, sorry that i started it under guest.

nope the game was not final fantasy. it was sort of like it in the sence that it was a camera from above, but you did not go into a seperate battle scene to fight with people, and you could play with more than one person at a time (on a split screen)

If by gauntlet you mean the game on nintendo 64 gauntlet legends, or the game that came prior to that on dos, im pretty sure it wasn't that, but yes a LOT like that game

No, I mean the original Gauntlet. Gauntlet Legends is a sequel to it.

YES! YES! I sent this game in as one that should be added to the site It's called Gladiator by Forgotten Sages. Great great game. You should be able to find it by typing the name into Google.

Thanx so much guys for the help on finding my old game, Gladiator By Forgotten Sages, I was about to give up on it but this forum pulled through, and yeah gauntlet is such a great game

Yeah, I remember Gladiator... Awesome game. But can someone tell me how to actually "win" the game? The levels seem to be repeating each other.
