im another fool looking for a game...
well actually, im looking for two games. Both are really quite old as I had them on an 086 computer (1983).
One of the games is another one of those space games. I thought it was simply called space war but I cant find it. It was a two player only game. Basically you controlled one ship and your partner the other and you had to kill each other. you could warp, which randomly respawned you. If bullets etc flew off one side of the screen they would come back on the other. I think you could shoot yourself.
The other game is a puzzle game I guess. Again I thought I knew itsd name (monster) but have been unable fo find it. Basically there were monsters on screeen that were simply red H's. Your job was to squash the monsters with green blocks. There also were more powerful monsters that needed to be surrounded before they could be squashed. Sometimes these then blew up into, i think 4 little monsters.
Does anyone have any idea what these games were called?
Thanks
ada

The shooter game is called "space wars" iirc, i remembered playing it a lot of times when i was about 8 years old... a nice game indeed. The game will not run on recent computers i think, due to CGA-compatibility(sp?) needed.
btw you could also play versus computer i think and you also could choose to set gravity and an all-killing planet in the center... boy, i liked that game!
dunno wheter it is shareware or something... would upload it(if i find it between my stuff) if it is not illegal.

I fail to under stand the purpose of that applet.... It appears to just be a lame video.
"You believe me," I said gratefully.
"Of course I do," and he held out his hand. "I believe everything out of the common. The only thing to distrust is the normal."
