name game?

I believe this game came out in the early 90's. It was somewhat like a RTS game of today, but I don't remember for sure. You had to build your castle (the walls and everything), and you had men cutting trees and stuff down... I don't remember much else, just that it seemed the main focus was building your castle.

No. The graphics were a little clearer and you could see the axes in the guys hands as they cut the trees. Also, as they built the walls of your castle you watched it build kinda block for block.

Sounds like Warcraft, but making a castle. Warcraft 2 has some castle-like features you can build.

I believe the game was simply called "Castles". As I remember you split up your subjects into work groups and defended against the occasional attack.
