Problem for installing Gender Wars

Hi there ! I would like to play at Gender wars for discovery this delirious game concept.

But when i launch under Dos box (v.0.72) the installing of the Gender wars iso, the install freeze to 20%.

Somebody can help me ? Thank for your understanding.

(I'm french and my english is really bad, sorry).

My Pc configuration:

Window Xp professinnel Sp 3

Amd Athlon 64X2 Dual core Processor 2.51 GHz.
2 Go Ram
Nvidia GeForce 9800 Gt 512 MB

Under Dos-Box I've already create the location c:\games\ for install my old games.

When i've mount my games location (C:\games) and i've mount my disk for installing.

And after have choice the soundcard in the sound setup (Soundblaster pro) the installing stop to 21%.

Mount lines look good, but: says : 'read error'
Probably a faulty CD.
Test your CD by copying the CD or creating an image from it.

BTW, is it an original CD?

Sorry i didn't clarify the Cdrom's nature: it's not an original but it's an Iso image (.cue) that I launch with "Daemon tools" who mount a virtual disc (F:\).

I found Gender wars "full cd" on http:// <snip> NOT allowed to post such links, read teh RuLeZ please. ~dosraider

They have a forum, why don't you ask there? After all it's their game I suppose they know how to run the game?

BTW, I would advise NOT using deamon tools with that kind of image, but mounting it directly in dosbox with the imgmount command.

Syntax:
imgmount d x:\path\name.cue -t iso

It can of course be that their image is corrupted in some way, the only thing I can say for sure is that the original Gender Wars (I have it) runs fine in dosbox 0.72.
