The sound works in ROTT, but not the music. When I go into setup and select my sound card, it initializes it alright, and when I start the game it says FX ok, but the music doesnt sound. What's wrong?

Is there a separate Music Card Selection? Most games have a SFX choice and a Music choice.

Sound in ROTT is very sensitive. You have to configure it very clear.
You should know, what your soundcard is (or what it is 100% compatible with.)
You can do it with trial and error, but then you MUST delete the file sound.rot after EVERY unlucky trial.

try just selecting Sound blaster pro with
the aladdin sound recommendations
Depends on your computer though
