Hi,
I'm looking for a game I played perhaps 8 to 10 years ago. I don't think it was a dos game, perhaps a windows 98 game. I don't know the name so I will describe it. It was a 3D game.
I think it had the words alien or invasion in the title, but I could be wrong.
It started as a top down game like the star trek game, NEW WORLDS. It may run on the same engine as New Worlds, or an engine Very close to it. I'm sorry if my info is more confusing than helpful.
The game from top down was set on a grid like graph paper. You had to build you own fortifications, factories. power plants. armories ect.
Once you built a certain factory it would spit out your ships. Then you could get into the ship in first person mode and fly (hover i think) around and shoot the bad alien guys who keep trying to take over your base.
You could switch from top down base editing mode to first person when ever you wanted I think.
The game was a Blast to play, and really colorful. That is sadly all I can remember about the game.
I hope someone can help, I have been dying to re play this game for years.. Just didn't know how to find it until I found this forum.
I think I will recognize the title if someone comes up with the right name.
After that, I'll search to the Ends of The Earth for a copy.
Thank You,
johnphoenix

No that's not it, but Thanks for trying..
Now that you mention it.. I can tell you folks that this game did have a sci-fi futuristic look and feel to it. Like it took place on an alien planet with high tech futuristic buildings, weapons and ships.
I didn't think to put that in the description before. This may help.
