Can't remember game name

I am looking for an old game that I only have vague memories of.

I know that it was some sort of mining game, it was very dark in nature and graphics, the guys that were doing the mining looked like they were wearing brown robes, and they were working out of some sort of stone building.

That may just be one level, but it is all I remember. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I dunno about dark in nature, but Clonk is somewhat like that, in that you mine and build things. Also, the mages where dark brown robes...
