Hi...
I found a really cool gener about 3 years ago but the only game i knew that is in thise gener was
Savage: The Battle For Newerth
Thise gener called FPRTS, its a mix of FPS and RTS...
For pepole that dont understand:
FPS = Ferst Person Shooter
RTS = Real Time Strategy
FPRTS = Ferst Person Real Time Strategy
Do you know any FPRTS\MMOFPRTS (Massive Multiplayer Online FPRTS)?

Oh... well, FPRTS are rare, and FPRTS are even rarer
However, I believe the guys at Croteam(?) that made Serious Sam were making an MMOFPRTS... didn't really like the sound of it tho'!

You're getting a bit pushy bud.
We're not here as personal slaves.
We don't mind looking for things sometimes, but a bit of manners would go a long way.

Yea if anyone is already familiar with these games they can give you their opinions but don't expect 'em to do your work for ya.
Try
www.mpogd.com for some reviews of mmorpgs, maybe you'll find some info there.

Ditch Battlezone and get Battlezone II - Field Commander! That's a good game. Not really FPRTS, since staying in FP mode, outside the protection of a craft/building means sure death!

I think they only made a football game for Amiga and SS1 and 2,they are currently making SS3.
EDIT:you maybe meant Provox Games?

sorry that it was sounded like youre ma personal slaves (I could use some of those
)...
larry do you mean that Battlezone II - Field Commander is like a commander in BF (Battel Filed) that you can give orders to youre soliders w\ a map and a walki-talki (I dunno how to write it right
)???

Er... not completely, in BZ II, you can pilot tanks(remember, this happens somewhere in the future), and give orders to your men/build more tanks/build more buildings, and you can also be in fps mode, when you're out of y'er tank, at which point you can enter buildings(and setup shit), or snipe the enemy pilots.
Of course, outside a ship it's 3 bullets-and-you're-dead, but that's not important!

Played the demo of BZ II and...
That game has bad graphics, controls (Youre tank is strafing too fast and you turret moves like 180 degris before it stops when you just moved youre mouse a mm...), modeling (the pepole there looking like a
robot made from cubes...)
Edit: Now when im tinking about it... maybe there was a mouse sensetivety control...
There was only one good thing... the gamplay... and its the only reason im spending time (And disc space) downloading the full game from emule...

That '
robot made from cubes' looks much better in a game than this one :
And at least it will not demand a quadcore/2Gigs with a 512Mb Vidcard.

lol? What "people"? There's one unit like that, the constructor. And FWIW, it's meant to be clunky!
Never realized the resemblance between the constructor and Cubix until now tho'!

Try jumping from youre "hover tank" and asking one of youre guys for a pick up...

I dident had any idea that someone ever saw Cubix...
I see that no one has any idea of any other games in this gener...
***Too bad i need to download steam to play Natural Selection...***
***Cuz i need to hack it after il download it

Thread revival!
Battlezone 1 and 2 for PC are where it's at for this genre. There is another game called Uprising that's similar too. I really liked the Battlezone games and wish they'd make me another.
And to the guy who complained about BZ2's graphics: well what do you expect? It came out in 2000. Back then it was a beautiful game, even supporting Matrox G400's environmental bump mapping. It was the only 3D card that could do that back then.
Don't miss out on the v1.3 patch that was done by the game's programmers as a hobby project.
