hello, I hope you guys can help me I am looking for a 3d shooting game where you were in a tank, the first mission was in a city where you rescued a CEO or something like that in a building, the destryoed enemy tanks left junk that was money for you, then you returned to your base and you could wander around and buy weapons before going to the next mission, through a portal or something like that, the second mission was in something like an outpost where its raining you must rescue a guy but when you reach it you discovered ita was dead and left a video etc. the weapons available to buy were mines, red laser, blue laser, and even nuclear bombs which you had to throw far so they didnĀ“t hurt you too, you could buy a scope for larger shots, etc. the tank was hovering if i remember well and the enemies also had helicopters. the game featured voices and quite good music. unfortanatley that's all I remember, I played it when I was a kid, and it was a playable demo, so I don't remember too much
I'm sorry if I wrote much but I want to be specific so someone could help me, hope you can.
thanks

by the way it was not hovertank, because this game was very well designed the nuclear bombs made the mushroom clud, and it had a lot of sounds and voices, in the second mission the one in the outpost- military base you could notice it was raining by the graphics and the amzing (for that time) sound of rain in the outdoors, and it had a very downtempo music for that part it was such a great game, I hope someone knows it.
thanks again

Doesn't ring a bell. Too much specific information, not enough general information. I'd be a lot easier to find if you remembered what year it was made, whether it was side, top, or isometric view, what company made it, and stuff like that.
I feel your pain. I tried for months to find a game that I could only vaguely remember, but never found it

I'm not sure how that is going to help... I mean, being LESS specific.

So...i'm looking for this game right...and there's a main character that you control...you used either mouse or keyboard...and uhhh....there were sounds.
I GUESS, it's easier to pick a game that matches criteria when you have a generic request. It might not be the game you are after, but it fits the bill.
Remir Alonso: Maybe check out some of the games in the "Strategy" section of this site. Or do a google search for tank games. There are a lot of them, so it may be hard.
Some of that actually sounds familiar. When the tanks were destroyed did the junk glow a blue / red ??

I don't know the game, try these lists ... one of 'em might have the tank game you're looking for:
http://www.mobygames.com/search/quick?q=tank&x=0&y=0
If you're sure it was a DOS game, use this one instead:
