Dosbox launch, or: Why should I read the readme.

hi i am wondering if there is something i can do than typing in
mount c c:\games
mount d e:\ -t cdrom -ioctl
and such when i wanna play a dosbox game

No. DOSBox emulates DOS, which is very hard to work with since you need to do everything for it.

there is a autoexec part in dosbox configuration near the bottom, add any/or all commands you want in there and they will be executed on dosbox launch.

step 1 : click on 'dosboxconf'
step 2 : scroll down
step 3 :
[autoexec]
# Lines in this section will be run at startup.
mount c c:\games
mount d e:\ -t cdrom -ioctl
c:
step 4 : save on exit
step 5 : run dosbox
step 6 : be truly amazed
step 7 : ask yourself why you haven't read the dosbox readme.
