meh, dunno, Theme Hospital is not really challenging on multiplayer... it's just like singleplayer, only that once in a while the other player tries to hire some of your staff away...

Also, it's monday, and I have a bad feeling about this "What are we going to play?" thing! Déjà vu, anyone?

er, Hamachi emulates a Local Area Network over the Internet, er... "tricking" the operating system and the software that the computer is connected to a LAN(or more) and to the Internet.

If you already are connected to a LAN, then you don't need Hamachi!

Make up your mind.

I don't think a virtual lan network counts as a 'my lan network'

Recently I have been using it to play Descent 2 with a friend over UDP/IP.
Had to turn off the firewall to calm the lag though.

Speaking of Hamachi...

I'm taking any challenges for a LAN game of Doom 95.

http://www.planethamachi.com/ was a very good database website. Now I cannot seem to access it.

There's others, but they're not as good.... google Hamachi Game Networks

Me and a friend downloaded Hamachi, after hearing of its capabilities we tested it out. Our first use was Supreme Commander, and it worked flawlessly, and halved the ping that we would have normally playing on GPGnet.

Our second test was to be Doom 95. We've played LAN at both our houses over different computers, but upon trying a connection over "teh interwebs" Hamachi doesn't seem to come through. We installed all of the protocols, restarted, and we still can't pick each other up, TCP or IPX. Any advice?

Thanks!

Aye, use a DOOM port(like, say, Doomsday, Doom Legacy or Skulltag).

Same DOOM experience, nearly zero hassle.

Also works properly over internet without needing Hamachi.
