Sometimes I wonder if the youth realizes we should be thankful to peeps as your grandpa who lost a lot of the best years of his live to give us freedom ...
And alas, as usual mankind learned nothing from the past .... alas.

Wow your grandpa was a war hero. Impressive. My grandpa is 85 years old and still complains about the freedom movement and told us ill stories about everyone who took part in it

And nowadays it's pretty popular to deny the holocaust ever happened. My grandpa was a photographer, and took 2 photo albums full of pictures of Dachau. Showed them to me when I was 12 years old visiting him. I've never forgotten those photos, or his stories about the war.
I imagine in another 30 or 40 years, once everyone who survived the war is dead all our history books will pretend the holocaust never happened, and cover up the uglier parts of the war - it's already happened somewhat here, covering up some of the atrocities the allies committed. (try to find Dresden in an American high school history book, for example) But I'll know it happened, and I'll make sure to tell my kids about it too.

I find it pretty hard to believe that people could simply forget about a thing such as the holocaust or the atrocities that it identifies to, but alas, I've been seeing that myself a fair bit.
One particular thing that really caught me by surprise.. Some time last year, was briefly in a conversation about war and etcetera with a casual friend of mine, a bit younger than me, and during the conversation, I brought up the holocaust as an example of something, don't remember what exactly, was a while back; Anyhow, one of his friends that was there and listening in at the time, a girl, younger than both of us (around 14-15 I think, didn't know her at all and can't remember), turned around, and in all seriousness, asked "What's a holocaust?"
Took me a moment or two to respond, because I thought she was trying to make a bad joke at first, but she was asking dead seriously. My opinion of her knowledgeability dropped more than a few notches at that moment.
That's about the only first hand experience I've had in proof of that sort of thing, but, I also tend to mostly socialise and associate with people my own age and older. But, you do see it in media and such.
Also, though I somewhat think this is more of using it as a political tool rather than a serious non-knowledge of it, we've seen the leader of Iran and other highly ranked political figures in various countries adamantly claiming the holocaust to be some sort of conspiracy or event that never happened, which, though obviously I wouldn't have any first hand experience in the holocaust, still makes me rather angry.
My grandfather came to Australia as a refugee from the war, and I've got an aunt from his side that would've seen the gas chamber, literally, if rescue had decided to take a minute or two more than they did when storming the place she and others were at.

Both caused by greedy American corporations hmmm... OH NO!! Don't BAN me for saying that!!
Heh heh just kidding. What you posted Dosraider is total bull. America is giving India millions of jobs and old computers are a necessity to sustain a poor organization that can't afford new ones and naturally there will be some e-waste along with everything else but if we stopped these imports there'd probably be cutbacks meaning more people losing jobs and poverty grows. You can't please everybody and you can certainly NEVER please the environmentalists ugh.. I was one of them once.
