Gotta love the fact that MP3 is out-dated, lossy, and not free. I could be wrong, but I think in order for you to make money off of a product that uses the MP3 codec, you have to buy a license to use it, thus raising the cost of the product. Funny thing is, we've got formats like Ogg Vorbis which are lossless, free, and readily available, but there doesn't seem to be any portable media player that can accept that format. Why?

I can always appreciate nerdy kids doing somewhat crazy things in public, and when it actually ends up sounding good, it's even better!

Hmmmm, would like to get my hands on the blueprints, must be interesting stuff.
What's not interesting but funny is how to ridiculize yourself within a
weather balloon.

Unfortunately it's only available to Americans (so that doesn't include me either!) but for those of you in the USA, you can sign up to receive a free Dr Pepper on their site, but hurry since it ends tonight (Nov 23) at midnight EST:

"Ye, hi, I'd like a Dr Pepper, please.
Ye, I'll hold.
Ye, for a month or so, no hurry!"

They are doing this because Guns N' Roses finally released their new studio album on Saturday.
However, I probably won't ever get it though
