I currently have two jobs...
One is working at a department store (we call it Filene's but I've also seen it called Kaufmann's, the name depends on the location) as a contingent where I ring up customers as of now at random departments. I've done inventory and stockroom for them too and at one point I worked for their kids department
The pay's really shitty....$6.35 an hour for doing so much shit and working with backstabbing management. Not to mention I've worked with them for two years and I still didn't get a raise. I get terrible hours....past two weeks I've only worked a total of 8 hours for them. Yeah I believe I'll be quitting soon.
The other one is a new one that I got. I work with a sales aid company and help sell cellphones at my local Best Buy. I get much better hours...as of now it's just 20 hours a week since I told them that I'm working my other job at the same time but I think that'll be changing soon. Not to mention the pay is better, ten bucks an hour plus commission.

"If you buy a bag of peanuts in this town they'll write a song about you."
Scratch the department store job...I just quit this one today because I'm sick of a bunch of kiss ass management that play games and thinks little of those who work their registers.
However I'm sticking with the cellphone job...in fact just today after a training seminar with cingular I was given a free cam phone (T226 Sony Ericsson) with two months of free service....unlimited minutes anytime and anywhere and internet access. How's that for benefits? Yeah I think there weren't any losses from leaving the other job.![Happy :)](./images/smilies/smile.gif)

my job
Those that already read this before know I had crappy jobs... I am getting support from the government (yes, finally...)... I need it anyway, since I get stressed out easily (no, radding me out won't get me stressed), and I just can't work... then again... I am going to work at home...
God's name is "I AM"

Well, since this topic was revived, I might as well add my two cents.
I start a new federal work-study job as an assistant in the Language Lab. Basically, I distribute foreign language audio CDs and monitor computers using special software.
I'm told it's easy work, and should give me time to get my homework done.
$8.00/hr is looking pretty sweet, only if it's for 9 hours a week.
