The spambot report thread
A tin-foil hat sales bot, and registered no less.
(Postings are almost spelled right, and kind of in the right forums for what he sells.)

Another 'guest' spamming in Cyrillic, selling home-brewed Vodka perhaps:

Here's another one (made some posts, now deleted):
http://www.dosgames.com/forum/profile.p ... le&u=13126
More Russian spam...or whatever it's supposed to be; no links.

Posted a spam topic, also has link in signature:

http://www.dosgames.com/forum/profile.p ... le&u=13127
Seems like a bot, but no links whatsoever yet:
http://www.dosgames.com/forum/profile.p ... le&u=13124
Should be noted that a while ago a bot used to post vaguely relevant replies in the same manner just to get under the radar, then edited its signature and profile page to add links.

Another bot:
http://www.dosgames.com/forum/profile.p ... le&u=13133
It copies a short segment of a preceding post in the same thread (a very short part, so it's very obvious) and pastes a link in it.
Made three posts so far this way, all deleted now.

Spam in ... Polish? Looks like it's testing the waters to see if its message stays up.

I'm on the fence. I'll let the account post one more time before I jump to any conclusions.Rwolf wrote:Looks like a random posting spam-bot to me:

Actually, this is the same guy as the "Tin foil hat salesman." I'll ban him and clean up the mess.
A comment spam bot, commenting content in a thread before anything is written?
