Michael had asked 2 time Oscar winning India's own A.R.Rahman (from Slum Dog Millionaire) to compose another song in the same type of '"We are the World" in the post Oscar ceremony where he met him. They were all ready to do it and suddenly Michael died.
The two geniuses together would've sounded unbelievable and really inspired people from around the globe and raised enough money to help people out like the last time Michael and some famous musicians raised 50 million dollars for Africa

Well the funeral is today. (sigh) I was still hoping somewhere, somehow he'd still be alive. Guess not.
I'll post whatever vids I can find of the funeral when they post it on Youtube.
Anywayz here are some vids of how much the fans loved Michael and how much Michael loved his fans

There was also one video where Michael sees some fan on the roadside holding up an artwork of him, and Michael tells them to stop the car, goes over to him and thanks him personally for the artwork and said he was a good artist, autographs it and gives him a hug. Can't find that video but it was very touching. Which superstar does THAT huh? NOBODY! That's who!!

Yeah. I don't believe in Ghosts either. And besides if it WAS Michael he would've been moon walking the great entertainer he isDogbreath wrote:it just looks like a shadow to me... especially how it distends towards the end.
I'm watching the CNN Michael Jackson memorial live on TV right now. It's very touching and really grand! It's sad that I see the man live on TV after so many years but he's in a coffin
I heard over 1.5 million people registered to be part of the ceremony but only 9,000 or so got the chance to attend it.

That phrase makes me laugh in so many ways.
Fun fact: due to the way the human psyche works, once somebody tells you "look at this video/image/etc, it contains something remotely similar to a human silhouette, it might be *gasp* a ghost!", if you look at said video/image/etc, your brain will(think it) see[s] said silhouette.
Course, in your case Chris, that's not an issue since you want to believe it to be true, no matter how absurd it is.

Hee hee... I'm guessing you didn't see the "Ghost caught on tape" video then. It was actually a parody on all other stupid ghost vids not anything serious.Larry Laffer wrote:Santhosh CHRiS wrote:"To the believer no proof is required, to the sceptic, no proof is sufficient."

I just like that quote a lot.
Also it seems I have only been posting vids for Michael Jackson fans and not his haters or those who remain 'indifferent' towards him.
Here's that asshole Martin Bashir's 2003 highly biased and twisted interview with MJ for you guys!
Living with Michael Jackson

Anywayz it's been really fun to start this thread for Michael. In a way he has brought us together similar to how dosgames have. Love him or hate him Michael Jackson has united us not only in this forum but all over the world. There are few VERY few people out there that are as globally recognisable as he is. If I talk about some Indian actor to a German guy, or if an Italian guy talks about some singer from his country 9/10 I wouldn't know them. But MJ is sort of like the great social equalizer. You can talk about his music, his crazy antics, his bizarre lifestyle, his dance movies, with ANYONE on the globe no matter what status he or she may be in. Even language isn't a barrier. If I just do a moonwalk, and a spin around in a place where NO ONE knows English, they'd all know I was dancing like MJ
I could discuss how the moonwalk is done with a bum on the road , or have a pleasant conversation with the owner of my company about Billie Jean. I could talk about his beautiful voice with my mother, as much as I could talk about his weirdness to a friend from work. And so on...
MJ HAS united this world, and I think even at his death, the world was united for that brief moment and we forgot about our differences and shared our love (or hate) for this man. Even his physical self is both black and white and that was because God had a plan with MJ. Everyone is born for a reason and MJ is the physical personification of that.
He didn't just entertain us with his music, but put subtle but effective messages into MOST of his works, and I can safely say the world IS a much better place thanks to him. Before him no black man was respected as much globally. Even in India there is some prejudice against black people and how they cause violence and steal etc....but then when I say about people like Michael Jackson or Michael Jordan those idiots all shut up.
Well that's all for now. I'm moon walking myself away from here and thanks a million for not locking this thread yet
Depends I guess, if you have a life of your own you couldn't care less about MJ and other 'stars'. Think about it, even a bag filled with absolutely nothing as Paris Hilton has die hard fans, says enough.Santhosh CHRiS wrote:MJ HAS united this world, and I think even at his death, the world was united for that brief moment and we forgot about our differences and shared our love (or hate) for this man. If your life is empty you have to fill it, even with non-events.
The fun factor was pretty high, but I must admit, I had to restrain myself to not click on the lock or delete button.Santhosh CHRiS wrote: Well that's all for now. I'm moon walking myself away from here and thanks a million for not locking this thread yet
Joky, carry on, amuse yourself....... happy 'moonwalking', and try not to go flat on ya face this time ...

It's still really hard to say goodbye Michael Jackson.. But (sigh) Good Bye... the King of Pop now meets with the King of Kings... God. Hope you keep the people of Heaven entertained as much as you did here.
(Moonwalks back slowly off the stage for the last time....lights fade out gradually)

Hitler finds out Michael Jackson has died.
It's funny but to drown my sorrow over Michael Jackson's death I seem to be watching more and more MJ vids on Youtube particularly well made parodies.
Here's one I'm sure most of you will enjoy
