No.
Celebrities don't DO that.
They aren't you.
Then how much time should it take for her to wind down and pull out? It doesn't happen overnight.

Heck, maybe she doesn't need to say goodbye. Maybe she could silently fade away, I don't know, what's your suggestion she should do to end her miserable tenure as a celebrity?

Anyway, I'm getting bored of all this, between the war over Anna Nicole's body and Britney being in rehab, I think it's about time I finally decide to ignore the mainstream celebrities/media as much as I can.

I don't even pay that much attention to begin with, but for the small amount of attention I do pay, I learn far more than I need to.

I watch only about a total of 1 to 2 hours of TV a week, maybe I should cut down to absolute ZERO?

As of now, 12:52 AM, Newfoundland Standard Time, February 22, 2007, I officially don't care anymore about this or any other celebrity bullcrap that might come to the surface.

I originally was curious and kinda sympathetic or whatnot, but by now it's beginning to be a pain in the brain. Not just this incident, but the whole grand big scheme of things.

Thank you.

Ok yeah, way too lazy to read all that.

My 2 cents: Who gives a shit? This isn’t a go at anyone of this forum or anyone specfic at all for that matter, but seriously, who the hell gives a damn what she does? I don't like Britney's music, personally I think it sucks total ass, so why should I give 2 shits if she's shaved her head? Good for her, bad for her, I really don't care.

Further to the point I don't see why other people care, or rather I should say if you're a fan you may have concern for how she is doing as wandering into a salon and shaving your head seems something out of the norm for most of us, but for everyone else, why do you care?

Are people’s lives really that sad and dull they need to live through celebrities? GO OUT AND LIVE PEOPLE! Seriously.

My life may not be some trill a minute, but it’s my life and I live it how I choose. Why, just because they have some form of talent in one facet or another, should celebrities be treated differently? I don’t have a camera in my face every time I go to take a dump, check the mail, go to the store for groceries, etc, why? No one cares, it’s just boring every day activities that are part of my life.

People need to realise that this is a job for celebrities, just like you yes they need to earn a living somehow, just like you they have menial tasks they must do every day, just like you they are not at work 24/7 they lead a normal life for the most part outside of their celebrity identity.

If you’re not happy with your life, quit being a pussy, grow a spine and do something about it. This kind of crap would not have been news 30 years ago, why? Because people wouldn’t have bought it, the media isn’t the problem, they report on what will get them attention. Cut the crap and give me some real news damn it, sadly the only way that’s going to happen is if the majority of the pathetic spineless pricks out there stop being just that and that’s not likely to happen.

On a minor note, I’m glad that some people realise this is just getting retarded.

If i heard that some girl that no-one knew had shaved her head and had a mental break-down i'd be just as concerned as i am for Britney. Not very much really, but it's the same interest. -shrug- I don't live through celebrities...but i find peoples actions interesting. If they put random people that weren't famous on the news, i would probably still be interested. It is human nature to want to know what other people are doing and why.

ANNNDDD...i think Britneys' music is good. ANNNDDD, she has to be doing something right to have gotten those statistics that someone quoted earlier.

A complete imbecil wrote:BUY BRITNEYS HAIR DOT COM

(minimum offer)

This is it, the opportunity of a lifetime. You can be the proud owner of Britney Spears' hair, extensions, the Omega clipper used to cut it all off and even the can of Red Bull she was drinking at the time. You also get her blue Bic Lighter. This is the Ultimate Britney Spears Experience! It is a piece of history that can not be duplicated!

This is what truly is sickening!

who would buy used hair for that much? I can see cancer people buying real hair wigs, but why would people buy britneys hair.

Human nature human shmature, I honestly couldn’t care less what other people are doing or why, actually, I’ll rephrase that, I don’t care what the vast majority of the world is doing or why. I care what my friends/family are doing, why, how they’re going etc. If a total stranger asks me for help politely I will gladly oblige, but in short, I really couldn’t give a shit about the ups and downs in the life of Brittney Spears.

You say you like her music and that, so I can understand you being interested, that’s not what I was getting at before, I meant people who are living through celebrities and really need to just go out and get a life, they have no reason to care other then they can't be bothered to find something better to do.

I don't really have a reason to care? Does it make me less of a person?
Warrented i haven't read a single article...

You just totally misread my entire post Gamer.

"You say you like her music and that, so I can understand you being interested"

I was getting at the people who have nothing better to do then live their lives through the actions and antics of celebrities. If you’re a fan, as you said you are, that’s different. If say Hansi from Blind Guardian were to walk into a hair saloon and shave his head, I’d be concerned as he is the main driving force behind my favourite band and it would be something out of the norm for him to do that. There is a huge difference between having care/concern for someone you admire then having nothing better to do so you snap up the latest TV Week because you’re life is that fucking sad you have nothing better to do.

I'd be more worried if Sam Totman went bald.

I'd have the same concern if i heard about either of those people...

I like her music...doesn't mean i'm a fan.

But Swift you still need to learn the glory that is Blind Guardian.

And Gamer, I really don't see the point of what you're trying to say, I get it, it's just pointless, but I can't be arsed to argue the point with you.

This is true.
Give me time, until I either get high speed or find an album of theirs to buy, I'll listen to them yet.

My point is that i'm not a complete imbecile just because i have concern for people i do not know. (As you inferred about people who care about what celebrities do previously)...But, i will cease now too.

I wasn’t implying that you’re an imbecile, nor did I infer that upon anyone, but regardless the topic is long gone.
