It is, to you and me and lots of other folks. But there are also people out there who find setting up DOSBox a challenge.
Anyway, I wanted to make a list of source ports and engine recreations, and this was a lame excuse to start a new topic. Welcome to the forums!

Right, I forgot about that one -- thanks! Added to the list!
I also reworked and expanded the rest of the list, adding many new games.

This one? MobyGames doesn't seem to have the Windows version listed. There's a DOS demo for sure.
Anyway, I updated the list a bit more and added a note about the possible requirement to use
DxWnd or
winevdm to launch certain old Windows games on newer systems.

The demo definitely comes with a Windows version as there is a file named SPCWIN.EXE which is a Windows 3.1 application, I tried running it a couple of months ago and it was a Windows version of the game

You're right, it does have a Win16 binary with this name and I was able to run it using winevdm. However, it appears to be only the menu, while the game itself is likely still DOS only, and I was unable to play.
If you ran this in a native version of Win 3.1 or in Win 3.1 installed in DOSBox, it would work as intended of course.
