I'm comfortably enjoying our 15*C heat ... you can change that to your own inferior "fahrenheit" system.

But we have water restrictions. =(

Go Celcius! Actually, this weekend its been up to 25*C. Well, around that. Also, I thought the drought was over and we all have free water now, so we can wash the footpath*!

*-Because of water restrictions, people weren't allowed to hose footpaths.

In AZ we've had about a 6 year drought. They were thinking about making it illegal to wash your car with a hose, so you'd have to go to a car wash that recycles the water.

I think the only place to my knowledge that uses farenheit is the united states.

Actually, the U.S. uses celcius too... it's just that we have *TWO* standard measurement units rather than one. We'll go totally metric in the next 30 years once all the baby boomers (who refuse to learn metric) die off)

Anyhow, I'll trade you your drought for our floods. It rained every single day in July and the white river overflooded making it the worst flood in the midwest EVER. Seriously, there were people 10 miles away from me who had to take a moterboat to work everyday (thanks to the 5 feet of water) and I'd have to go the long way around to some friends houses and church, thanks to the roadways-turned-waterways.

Of course, this would've never happened if the state had disallowed building on the floodplains but did the state listen to the people? Nooooo... they decided to earn quick cash on the building taxes and ignore the hundreds of millions lost by the public due to water damage...

Yes yes, we use Celcius too...but putting in the "fahrenheit" Made it seem more dramatic. Anyways...it's cooled down now....yesterday there was a big windy storm, where it poured (we needed the rain badly) and now it's really cooled down.

Yes there is. It goes something like this:

"J. Lo's divorced and/or married somebody today."

"The weathers fine."

"The government is corrup because..."

There.

Celeberty News is gossip plain and simple and has nothing to do with real news.

There's ALWAYS something freakish about whether somewhere.

Government Corruption, on the other hand...

I have only seen a "no news" news broadcast. 1 was years ago and the other was a 5 minute span dan rather wouldn't be here. Reporting the same thing (diffrent ways) 7 times. He was waiting for Bush to make his speech right after we bomb (missled) baddag. + He still didn't report anything new for another 5 minutes after that.

"We attacked iraq today at *:**. As of right now we do not know the casualties of the attack. We shot them with missles. With missles we shot them. At *:** iraq was hit with missles. No report on causualties and damages. Missles hit Iraq at *:**....." and on and on and on.

dogbreath: i said "REAL NEWS", not "normal news". i know there is no such thing as normal news, cause normal news is an oxymoron. i said real news because i had to watch 2 hours of power cut footage in japan while everything else (real news) just scrolled across the screen. this was on CNN Japan, so you may have had something different.

Uh, the power outag would be real news, since there is a risk of death, risk of terrorism, risk of looting, and so on.

Actually, since most of my national news is Eastern, it was mostly this woman with bad bedhair speaking in the dark while one of the male anchors in the back was turning the generator crank... kinda cool, actually. ;)
