Bootable USB drive for playing dos games

And the stuff runs pretty good I must say.
Not that I would run it on a modern PC, but if you have an older PC or laptop laying around gathering dust it's a good applic to blow new life in it.

thats nothing like what I am creating what I am creating is a portable gaming system on a usb drive that is based off of DOS for playing games.
Its near Release Candidate and then after that release.

Status update:I am almost completely done creating Retroplay now I am just doing some testing and I am expecting a release sometime in March.

Retroplay is a portable gaming system on a USB drive for playing all kinds of classic retro games such as Duke Nukem,Doom, Jill Of The Jungle and many more games.

After Retroplay is released in March depending on how popular it ends up I will probably continue with Retroplay related stuff.

So pretty much the concept is that games are downloaded off the Retroplay website and then put in a numbered folder and then it automaticaly gets installed in Retroplay.

Ok status update and preview of what will be the 1.0 version of Retroplay
I don't think posting this reply counts as bumping as this project is still very active infact almost complete too(Took longer than I had anticipated but its pretty much done just need to get feedback and finish setting up the website)

*drumroll* Retroplay is now almost complete id just like to get some feedback etc. from this preview this is so close to the 1.0 release that maybe i should be calling this a Release candidate

This preview or release candidate as i should be calling it is 99% close to what will be the 1.0 release that will be released by the end of March

Known bugs in this release candidate are that will be fixed in the release are:
sometimes the screen will go a little dark this has been fixed and the fix will be in the release
When changing settings in the settings manager don't get applied I have fixed this and the fix will be in the release

A serial or a PS/2 mouse(USB mice don't work unless legacy mouse is set in your BIOS or on an adapter)

Damn, not many still have a a non-USB mouse ......I would even say more: on most newer mobos you can't connect a PS/2 mouse, only USB.

[Edit], To clarify: this wasn't meant as nitpicking, but I get the idea you don't have access to the newest hardware ..... and thus don't know such things.
Am I right?

Actually i do have access to the latest hardware infact most of the time i am developing and playing Retroplay on a modern dual core PC 2.7ghz.

People that dont know dos or old computers dont want to mess with all kinds of options where as in Retroplay everything is menu driven and installation of Retroplay and games are as easy as can be and much easier than Dosbox.

If you think n00bs will go poking around in their bios ..... think again.

Retroplay 1.0 is now released and is available for download off of the Retroplay website

this is the release version and will be the only version if/ever there is ever a 2.0
