Hi guys. I've been looking for the full version of this game for ages. The link doesn't appear to work anymore. Do any of you still have the file - and would anyone be willing to send me it.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Eh, can you help a noob here?

It appears to be only the 2.4 MB demo in the dosgames.com link

The full game should be about 24 MB (ten times size ;) )

The windows version works fine with the wine emulator on linux (with win98 compatibility mode). On xp, you could use the dosbox emulator with the dos version of luridland executable.

By the way, there are a lot of puzzles solved on youtube.

Nope.

It's a Wingame, dosbox can't run it.

The retail cd includes both dos and windows versions of the game. The iso is downloadable, you can find easily on google.

Thank you LeslieT. It's appreciated.

For those who have the same (Czech) ISO version as I have:
Simply install the Czech dosversion in dosbox, download the english translation, unzip all the files in your \lurid\ folder, accept overwriting the old files.
Works fine.

BTW, the dosversion runs also in a lovely 800x600 screen in dosbox.

[Edit]
Also:
If you have the Czech ISO edit the ISO (PowerIso-WinISO....) and copy/paste all the files from the eng zip in the ISO, so you will get the install/setup in English to.
(to or too ????? Never get to fully understand this in English, damned).

And now to find some free time to play this game .... as if.

Too = also, to = towards/etc.

Or, you could be hip about it and use "2". ;)

Which is only suitable if you're replacing "two". In any other circumstance, I'd probably delete it. (I cannot stand any usage of u, ur, r, 2, ne1, 2, etc. to replace decent words)

:suspicious:

Good that we have emmzee here, let's see what his site has to say about the subject:
People seldom mix “two” up with the other two; it obviously belongs with words that also begin with TW, like “twice” and “twenty” that involve the number 2. But the other two are confused all the time. Just remember that the only meanings of “too” are “also” (“I want some ice cream too.”) and “in excess” (“Your walkman is playing too loudly.”). Note that extra O. It should remind you that this word has to do with adding more on to something. “To” is the proper spelling for all the other uses.
See Larry, that's helpful.
