because glue requires air to dry and "cement" and the inside of a glue container lacks that.

But even when you leave the lid off and the glue dries it still doesn't stick inside?

Notice the tip of the squeeze containers will dry up when they are left open?

And eventually, it will dry. A small dry skin will form on top. It all has to do with surface area. The larger it is, the longer it will take to dry.

Also, a glue bottle is plastic I believe... ever tried gluing plasic? It's next to impossible.

You can do it with rubber cement, but that's irrelevant. Do-dah!
