She's a pussy! ....
I'm really annoyed by Elaine's character.
She's a pussy!
Not at all the strong female role-model we knew and loved!
Hopefully she gains more credibility later on.

Cute, but I'm afraid you're not really my type.

I was only kidding. In reality I think girls are very sweet and far better at dealing with emotions than guys are. If they are down they just cry and talk to their friends all about it, give each other a hug etc. Whereas some of my guy friends don't tell me what's really bothering them, go to some bar get drunk as hell, smoke 2 packs, get angry for no reason and keep everything bottled up inside until it's too late and i have to pry him open to get any information on what happenedCheck-Mate wrote:ummm...

Don't worry Larry, you're enough of a girl for meeee!
Even when it comes to love girls are more into romance and sentimental to the little things than the average boy. I just love how a girl cries when she's really happy to see me or lonely when she misses me. It really melts something deep inside you and makes me happy to be alive despite all the other shit going on. Yup... girls are the reason anything in this world makes worth striving for

That's a HUUUUUGGGEEEE generalisation.
You can't know many girls Santhosh.
Actually, that statement kind of explains why you immediately thought i was the man in the picture i posted in the Show Yourself thread.
Not all girls are the same. I don't do the mushy romance and sentimental stuff, but my ex boyfriend did. You can't just polarise males and females as being one thing or another. I don't even know when my current partner and mines anniversary is.

I wouldn't call the emotion she's feeling "happy"...Santhosh Chris wrote:I just love how a girl cries when she's really happy to see me
Gamer: Very true! I'm a fairly open person emotionally, and am pretty expressive. I'm comfortable talking about myself and will usually say exactly what I'm feeling or thinking if it's appropriate to do so. I'm a pretty big romantic, love dancing, long walks, giving girls flowers, and will occasionally tear up during emotional moments. (though typically not at movies like some people) I consider myself pretty emotionally healthy, and know a lot of guys and girls like myself. I also know several girls (and guys too) who are very reserved, never show emotion, rarely talk about themselves or important moments in their lives, and generally seem to repress emotion. I wouldn't say these people are necessarily unhealthy, either. Just different people processing things differently.
In my experience girls do tend to be a little more outgoing in general, so when they do express emotions it's a little more noticeable, but it's hardly a general thing. I've seen situations (a lot of times when someone gives a testimony at church, for example) where guys will weep uncontrollably but girls will barely tear up.

Santhosh:
You're adorable.
I was def joking, though. But you're cute. Haha.
I agree with GAMER and DB, though.
It IS a generalization.
DB:
You are a jerkasaurus.
Haha. I meant I resented the fact that he thought Larry was too nice to be a girl. Because I think he's girl enough.
Definitely nothing about "girls not being nice"
I think though, that that type of mentality was sort of expected a long time ago. That women were frail and sweet and lovely.
But with things the way they are now, it's not like that. People are people, and you can't specify in any way when it comes to gender anymore.
But everyone has their types, and if that's what Santhosh is into, then there are definitely girls like that.

Well, there are some things that are still pretty gender specific. Typically, only men have facial hair. (outside of Russia, of course) Men seem more likely to react to high levels of stress with anger, women with tears. And there are a good deal of social constructs left that create artificial distinctions: like women kissing eachother being far, far more socially acceptable than men doing the same in western countries. (I mean non-sexual friendly kissing)I think though, that that type of mentality was sort of expected a long time ago. That women were frail and sweet and lovely.
