I am looking for this old game, not sure how old.
I am looking for this old game, not sure how old.
It was at least several years ago, i used it on one of my old computers. Either a windows 95 or a windows xp, not sure which.
Basically, you had a grid full of squares, and you had to explore them. You would find items and gold and monsters, and you had to defeat a dungeon boss at the end.
There was a basic combat interface for fighting the monsters, like an attack button and stuff. You could also get potions that did stuff like heal you.
I think my head will explode if i can't remember the name, i think it was something to do with a maze.
Thanks in advance.

I'm leaning towards this one too.Dogbreath wrote:Moraff's World? Moraff's Revenge? They both have the holy hand grenade. Was it a 3D game?

That's top down?
I've spent more hours playing Moraff's World than you've probably spent playing all dos games combined. It's not top-down, it's 3D.

In Wally's defense(), that screenshot has an area that is top-down!

I'm pretty sure larry was... ah, fuck it.and it came up in the results as a top view picture in the moby games site.. (as larry also pointed out)
I'm sure you think Doom is a top down game too, right? And Morrowind? And System Shock?
The point is it's an (at least partially) 3D game, so it doesn't match the guest's description.
