One of my friends sent me this image for New Year. I changed the text a bit without telling her

So, we made it into 2009, big deal.
Still the same shit after all.

It was something cheesy like "Please move over. It's my turn now"

In the year 2009, man uses "the Interwebs" to communicate with people from the future.
And the future doesn't look good at all...

Ok ok here's a good joke about the New Year made by an ultra cyber-geek
A guy says to another guy
"I made ONE New Year resolution and kept it!"
"Really? What did you do?"
"I changed my computer monitor's resolution to 1440 X 900"
If you did not laugh for this joke.... there is still hope for the human species

I had the best new years eve i've had in a very long time and i was working.
I usually very much dislike nye. There's always so much anticipation and i always feel like everyone else knows something that i don't.

I'm the same way about Christmas. The best Christmas Eve I ever had, I worked. Showed up dressed in a Santa hat with presents for all my co workers, had fun, drank coffee, and made a really good time of it. No worries, no anticipation, no anxiety, just a good, slow work day and awesome coworkers.
