I agree Bubble Boy was considerably crap movie, actually it was about as bad as this:

I saw WALL-E that movie with the robot thing.

The first half hour or so (mislead by the very high ratings at IMDB) I thought it would be a REAL avant garde kind of film where all humans went extinct by their own filth and only one garbage collecting robot existed to clean up the mess as he was programmed to until his batteries ran out and he too would die. Then some alien would come down and visit Earth millions of years later and learn how humans destroyed themselves by scanning WALL-E's memory. The Alien would then leave thinking the planet was lifeless but there in the distance.... the camera would pan to a small plant growing despite the uninhabitable conditions. The alien tilt it's head and wonder whether to take it as a specimen or let it live and give Mother earth another chance.... THE END

Thanks Wardrich!

I knew I couldn't expect that kind of a movie out of Pixar but since the critics were acclaiming it so much and it was rated number 32 on IMDB I thought maaaaybe it'd be good as Ratatouille atleast. Still a fun movie to watch though once or twice at most.

What really puzzled me was how they used live action footage of real humans in the videos and then made a switch to animated versions of humans. What was with that?

Hmmm... I think I've seen this on Cartoon Network some time ago when I was around 12 or 13. It was pretty good. Got pretty emotional when they all went extinct

I honestly can't believe that Steve didn't know this little fact...and that's even when the old guru posted pictures of grandchildren and stated a few thousand times that he was babysitting them.

The Land Before Time and Dinotopia were both crap...
Jurassic Park...much much better, especially with the t-rex roaring on 8.1 surround sound

And yeah I was a bit shocked to hear all this. I thought dosraider was maybe I dunno... 16 or 18 at most. Good to see he's still very much young at heart
