old platform game..[= Crystal caves]

Post by rayman »

when I was little we used to have an old pc with a really cool game on it, but can't remember the name! it was somewhat like commander keen, but cooler!
you were a guy that arrived at a planet/space ship and you had to complete levels. it looked really old, not as flashy as commander keen, with a lot of primary colors: green, red, black, yellow. you had to find keys/cards or something to open doors/passages. there were several levels (like in a house) on top of eachother, you could climb from one to the other. there was something with electricity I think and you had to collect things and bring them to the right place. diamonds? could be that there was also a title, like dr., mr. or something in the name I'm not sure about that.

I know it sounds really vague, but it was probably not the most exclusive game, it already was on the pc we got from my aunt.

I really hope someone can help me, it's been bugging me all day!
thanks a lot.

Thinking about this, it makes me think of... Is it Captain Comic or the sequel, Captain Comic II: Fractured Reality?

Try Secret Agent out too. It's pretty much the same game but with different levels in a different setting.

Maybe you mean hugo's haunted house? you have to type in commands to solve puzzles. Crystal caves was pretty great too, or maybe secret agent sam?

you also may want to check a a site called (www) dosgamesarchive (dot com) {that's me working around the guests not being allowed to post links rule} if you know after a year of asking you haven't found it, or you can just play it!

Firstly, this thread is pretty old...

Secondly, this is the dosgamesarchive forum you're posting on, we're got a link to them at the top of the forum. (it's hosted on dosgames.com, since it's a shared forum)
