Thought I'd test you with this one.....it's difficult.

Okay, imagine if you will, back in the mists of time around the same period as Quake1, when software 3D was still "omg"....
I played a (software)3D game which I would describe thus.....
You are in a car. The car is long and pointy (streamlined) and has 2 segments. The front part is pointy and rocks from side to side, while the rear "trailer" part is just blocky.
You are in an arena with 3 other cars. You can choose your car, each has different attributes (speed, armour, balanced etc) and they are different colours. The arena is a series of about 4 rooms, with doors/arches in between, each car starts in a different room. In each room there are ramps or dips of different configurations, and on the ramps are powerups for your "car"..... rocket launchers, lightning guns etc with which to destroy your opponents.
It's styling was futuristic/tron like....
It ran on my DX2/66....
I absolutely played this game to death but I can't for the life of me remember what it was called and would love to look it up again, at least for nostalgia's sake.
Can you help?

No, I think perhaps YOU fail in your interpretation of my post... I'm trying to find the name of the game, you see. A test for the all-knowing people on this forum....
I, in my sublime innocence, could have misinterpreted the name of this forum "Find Old Games", but perhaps I've come to the wrong place.
For which I apologise and disappear off to find someone who is actually going to help me do that.

Also, the car wasn't long and pointy, it's rounded and kinda stubby. There's only one segment of the car, there's no "trailer", I don't recall you being able to pick your car, or each car having attributes, and the arenas were more open-concept.dosraider wrote:No weaps in Hoover, Wally.

Maybe you should actually play games before you suggest them, Wally.
