Shouldn't you ask this where you downed the game?
Also it wouldn't be a bad idea to specify what bedlam you're talking about.
The one from 1988 by GO! or the one from 1996 by Beam ..... ??????

I meant Bedlam from BI 1987

BedLam - Beam International - 1987
Bedlam 2 : Absolute Bedlam - GT Interactive - 1997

Works fine in dosbox but you must set the CPU cycles extremely low, on my PC it's something as 200, think that's the lowest I ever had to go.

Also weird keysettings, the keys are Q-A-X-C and CTRL to shoot.
Ypu can remap them with F9.
This one?

This is the opening screen from Bedlam, I took it just before I posted, yes, I have that game.
And what I mean?
That the game runs flawless in dosbox 0.72 with extremely low CPU cycles.

Seems to be an echo in here.

So, you didn't meant the original Bedlam from 1987 but the later one it seems.

There are two later ones, to know:
Bedlam and surprisingly Bedlam2.
This is Bedlam(1996):click-> Image

This is Bedlam2(1997):click ->Image

If you meant the first one (as you talked about a tutorial first level) be sure that if you don't have the CD ( :suspicious: ) to run setup in dosbox.
Soundsettings for SFX :
SB AWE32
220
7
1

Also: set CD audio to OFF in 'options' whilst in setup, or the game will crash ( ..... If you don't have the CD).
The screenie from the first Bedlam(1996) is taken by me AFTER the tutorial level, so it works fine in dosbox 0.72.
The Bedlam2 from 1997 works also flawless.
