am looking for a flight game

Post by abyss »

I have hunt for red baron which i like to call the windows version of red baron even though they are not related at all. I'm looking for a different war flight sim. I know the name starts with a c. It's a dos game. It was from the late eighties-early 90's.

Okay...

What war? (Great War, WWII, Korea, Vietnam... etc)
What planes to you fly?
Do you remember any specific details, like story, certain pilots you'd fight, graphics, etc?

Wait wait wait wait wait...

You mean you posted a game request, on the official forums for dosgames.com, for a game that is, in fact, located on dosgames.com?

What puzzles me more is what 'Red Baron' is doing in the first post.
I know both games pretty swell, and Corncob3D has nothing - really - nothing in common with Red Baron.
Corncob3D is about flying a WW2 Corsair against alien invaders.
Weird lookin'alien invaders.

Say Abyss, did you know you can land your plane near those 'mind' wrecking bulbs and plant bombs? Even several ones, everytime you jump in/out your plane you get a new bomb.
Hmmm ,nevermind.

That's an interesting use of parentheses and brackets you got there.

To be fair to Abyss...he did state they had no relation. It's just a tag he uses to identify the game in his memory. I do that sometimes.

Yeah I see.
I know such people, I have a sister (the oldest one) that do such 'memory tag' things.

Real life situation:
Me and sister are driving, coming by a crossing.
[sister]:""Left here, that's the coffee cup crossing as I call it".
[me]: "Euuuuurh, sissy, you always hold your coffee cup righthanded".
[sister]: " That's why I call it the coffee cup crossing, I know I must turn in the opposite direction, I hold it righthanded so I must turn left, easy isn't it"?
[me]: :suspicious:
