Booyah
Well it took awhile but it looks like everything has ended up as it should. I'm probably going to get hit by a meteor or something tomorrow to balance out my luck. If there are any lingering problems please let me know and I'll take a look.
For now, I will finish setting up dosgames.com ..... then finally I can sleep! Yay sleep.
Heh, later all.

That'd be me ... I did all the graphics 'n stuff. dosgames.com is my first and favorite site so I'm rather protective of it, and I wouldn't let anyone else do stuff like that.
Oh if anyones still interested, the mediocre game Bat & Ball is back up on dosgames.com:

http://www.vgstores.com is one of 'em
The recently redesigned http://www.potofgold.org is another. I also plan to add some content to http://www.emmzee.com someday

Mainly Photoshop ... I used 5.5 to make the graphics on DOSGAMES.com and have since upgraded to 6.0. Haven't tried 7.0 yet. It's pretty expensive. There are other methods to obtain it (via P2P file sharing like Kazaa) of course I would never recommend such things. Paint Shop Pro is a cheaper alternative but I much prefer Photoshop.
Both of those take some effort to learn if you've never used similar programs before. Another option if you don't want to take the time to learn such a program could be Xara Webstyle (www.xara.com) which generates logos, buttons etc for you. Of course that's also shareware so you have to register it if you want full functionality.
