Accidental Superhero, Blink 182, System of a Down, Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd, Red Hot Chili Peppers, 3 Doors Down, Drowning Pool (they could have been something, man!), Incubis, The Beatles (da best), Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Beasty Boys, Green Day.

Haven't decided yet: Trik Turner (I like all their songs, but I don't love all their songs), Cheville (I love "The Red"), Taproot (Poem is awesome), The Vines.

Some bands that I only like one or two songs: Alien Ant Farm (ONLY THE ONE THEY STOLE FROM MICHEAL JACKSON), Saliva, Metallica, Korn.

I dislike: Disturbed.....there's more, but I try to block my mind from bands I don't like :shifty:

Oops, I also like Sum 41.

And, on Jimmy Eat World: my computer teacher knows the lead singer. The lead singer's dad was the coach for my computer teachers son ;)

Nickleback are okay ... they're Canadian so I have to at least kind of like 'em. ;)

My favs:

The Ramones (best ... band ... ever ... :D)
Beatles
Nirvana
Alkaline Trio
Weezer
Dashboard Confessional (dunno if they count as a "rock" band ... more "emo" or "sappy" ;))
MxPx
The Ataris
Blink182
Me First & the Gimmie Gimmies (a punk covers band ... I love punk covers)
Smashing Pumpkins
Radiohead
Rancid
NIN
Tool (I used to be a huge fan, but not as much anymore)
Andrew WK (All his songs sound the same but thats okay he's so cool! B))

... and so many more hehe. I have eclectic tastes. But I think those are most of my favorites.

Here's my fave songs for each of 'em:
Accidental Superhero: So Easy
Blink 182: Aliens Exist
System of a Down: the one about the tapeworm. I forgot what it's called
Led Zepplin: Stairway to Heaven
Pink Floyd: Money
Red Hot Chili Peppers: Give it Away or Otherside, I'm not sure which
3 Doors Down: Loser
Drowning Pool: Bodies
Incubis: Drive
The Beatles: Revolution
Pearl Jam: Jeremy
Nirvana: Smells Like Teen Spirit
Beasty Boys: Girls
Green Day: Nice Guys Finish Last
Trik Turner: all, a little
Cheville: The Red
Taproot: Poem
The Vines: Get Free
Sum 41: Phat Lip
Saliva: Click, Click Boom
Metallica: Enter Sandman
Korn: that one where in the video they're following that bullet, and there's that anime girl. That song and video is awesome, but I can't remember what it's called.

Bands I forgot to mention earlier:
NewFound Glory: Understatement
The Hollies: Dear Eloise
Linkin Park: Papercut (though Linkin Park has been dubbed stupid, now, because they came out with a remix for their second album, and their sellouts, and all their songs sound the same, and their stupid!)
Limp Bizkit: My Way (basically everything I said about Linkin Park goes here, save the "they came out with a remix for their second album")

Most modern bands suck. They're all way too similar and incohesive lyrics, and when the lyrics actually make sense, I rather wish they hadn't.

That said, I like:
Smashing Pumpkins
Mettalica
Stone Sour
Trans-Syberian Orchestra
The Soggy Bottom Boys (from the movie "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou)
Jimmy Eat World, because they don't try to be something they're not. It's just fun music.
Rolling Stones (Paint it Black, actually)
Godsmack
NickelBack (Repetitive, sometimes. Good music, yes)
And my soul from out that shadow shall be lifted, ah!, nevermore.

Needles. IMO, Chop Suey and Arieals were good too.

I didn't like Aerials, but Chop Suey was good...

eViL bOrIs: If you think about it, all decades had their clones. You just need to know where to look for the good'ns. Besides, some clones are better'n others.

By the way, if you like "uniqueness", you should have listed Smashmouth. They've got one of the most unique soudns I've heard, if you listen close. And, although Incubis has several clones, they were the first to obtain that style.
Stone Sour
Trans-Syberian Orchestra
........I'm sorry to say, but I don't know whe dem be.

And don't you like any Oldies that have individual sounds? Like Led Zepplin (they'll kick Godsmacks butt any day!), Pink Floyd (basically the most unique band ever), The Beatles (like Incubus-have many clones, but they were the original [and best]), The Ramones, etc, etc.

Evil Boris: have you ever heard Symphony X? Their music is very comprehensive, composed, and plot oriented (retelling of greek myth) and they sound like nothing I have ever heard before.

Pink Floyd is good, as well.

SMASHMOUTH!?!?!?!? Please tell me your joking. Unique, yes. Terrible, also yes.

Aerials is good. Bon Jovi is pretty good. I also like Rob Zombie. That's unique.

And yeah, Incubus was the first to sound like that but I don't like them in the first place.

I like some more, but not -that- much. I'm not a very musical person. I have my tastes, and that's that. You won't catch me listening to some garbage punk rock or whiny Linkin Park and Trust Company.

Bouncing Souls are also good.

Oh yeah. I like Deep Purple because one of their songs, Smoke on Water, is in DDR.
