PANASONIC GD55
PANASONIC GD55
Back in 2003 i think, my aunty went over to indonesia, she came back with 2 tiny little pansonic gd55's. they cost her around $750 for the two of them. A few months on she gave them both to me. There pretty kool phones and im currently buying them cheap off ebay and refurbishing them. the tricky part is ordering the covers, batterys and housing from hong kong.
A little review. (by me)
The Panasonic GD55 mini mobile is a simple phone for almost everyone. If your the type of person that doesent need a huge bulky mobile phone with all these mp3 features and high tech bluetooth designs, this is the phone for you. The phone is about half the length of a regular phone and is about the 3 quarters the thickness.
It has an external antenna for good reception and a loudspeaker for times when you cant be stuffed holding a phone up to your ear 24/7. It has a lanyard so you can hang it around your neck or even connect it to your jeans. The vibrating function on it its really strong and the 4 chord polyphonic ringtones are loud and clear.
Its wap browser works fine and its battery life is probably the best you can find. On average the battery lasts up to 4/5 days fully charged so its great for traveling, and the charger for it is half the size of a standard charger.
Its features are pretty standard like calandar, T9, Calculator, Wap and more but its still great for an all round phone. Its also a great attention finder because everytime you pull it out people wil be amazed of its size (no pun intended).
Overall its a great phone for everyday use, 7/10

Blah! So? You're not trying to convince us into buying one, are you?
I mean, look at the size of that thing, you can't even dial a number without a needle!

Sorry, I take care of my personal hygiene, and cut my fingernails periodically!wadeo999 wrote:Whats your problem?
I was just trying to show you a unique phone, and by the way most people can text people fine on them, you just use ur fingernails
Anyway, if anybody ELSE feels the urge to reply, this'll remain open!

1: yes you are meant to periodically cut your fingernails BUT, you dont need to cut them right back till ur fingers bleed, secondly your meant to wash your hands after meals and after toileting, so your fingernails arent grotty.Larry Laffer wrote:Sorry, I take care of my personal hygiene, and cut my fingernails periodically!wadeo999 wrote:Whats your problem?

And dont try and show off your moderating power by acting as if my review on a phone is so crap and pointless that it needs to be shut its called free speech and i think anyone is allowed to discuss a perfectly harmless subject like a phone.

First of all, I'm not trying to show off my [deputy] moderator powers, since they're not enough to show off with!
Second of all, don't get me started on free speech on forums(yeah, so I do remember everything Dogbreath posted)
Lastly, I strongly suggest, Wadeo, you get back on topic in your own goddarned thread. Thankees!
