Do you ever saw such a "portable" Compaq ? I did, and honestly, not so portable, it had a small CRT screen...... you can guess the weight, the volume of that "portable", and the batteries , OMG, the batteries.

Hope you do well, Julie, and hope you can come back when you're 65!

I get the feeling that about 10% of the Alberta population is either ex-Newfies or closely related to ex-Newfies. One of my uncles moved up there in the early 80s and still lives there today. His daughter (my cousin), while born Newfie, she was only about 2 when she went to Edmonton, and for most practical purposes is a real Albertan.

I might have to do the same thing eventually if I can't get a sensible job here.
