Operation Inner Space

Post by gustyx »

(FORGIVE MY ENGLISH ERRORS, IM FROM BRAZIL AND IM NOT VERY GOOD AT ENGLISH)

Hi people, my name is Gustavo Neiva. I always liked old games, because they were the only playable for me until last year, because before it i only had a 486 with 66mhz and 16mb RAM! When I was 5 years old, my cousin showed me a game that I never forgot: Operation Inner Space. Since this moment, I began to chase this game at every place I went, even at the pirate games fair at my city, but I haven't found it. Now I am 14 years old, and I am yet hunting this game everywhere but without any sucess. I only found the damned-cursed-i-hate-it demo version. But I want the full version ( for free, pleeeease), so can anyone send it to me or tell me how to get it PLEASE!!! 9 HUNTING YEARS TIRED ME OF THIS VAIN SEARCH!!! I BEG AND IMPLORE TO YA PEOPLE PLEASE GIVE ME THE GAME BY EMAIL OR MESSENGER OR TELL ME THE SITE TO GET THE FULL VERSION WITHOUT PAYING FOR IT PLEEEEEEAAASEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With help needings,
Bloodblad949

Inner space is a great game. It's sold from the official site, but nobody really got an answer when they ordered it. Too bad. www.sdispace.com

If you're lucky you can find it on Ebay.

If you don't want to pay, you don't want the game badly enough.

I think DB might be able to toss something up. PM him and you might get somthing rather nice back

To tide your self over for the wait

http://downloads.ugo.com/details.php/id/100/ has the shareware version.

Db does have a lot of games, doesn't he?

In my link there also was a shareware version. Still an older shareware version is better, because I believe in the later shareware versions, save was disabled...

Lol. funny you should say that. I got the .rar for the full version, but I'm having trouble getting it to work, and I'm tearing at it like a fat man tearing at a twinky in kevlar wrapping :)

ROFLMAO

MES GOT ZA SHAREWARE
but slowly me and some friends *shifty eyes*...
One time I had a Jack and coke and it had a lime in it, And I saw that the lime was floating. That's good news man. Next time I'm on a boat and it capsizes, I'll reach for a lime... I'll be water skiing without a life preserver and people'll say 'What the hell?' and I'll pull out a lime...and a lemon too. I'm saved by the buoyancy of citrus.

What I meant to say is What do you mean by "but slowly me and some friends"? Are you trying to be able to play the shareware version indefinately? Actually, I think that the shareware version doesn't have all the files, so even if you did crack the time limit, you still wouldn't get the full game. However, if you wanted to take a crack at it, I'm sure I could send you the full version .rar, and you could see if you could get that to work. Then if you did, you could tell us how you did it :)

So did anyone find this? If so, can you send it to me <Email>? I've been trying on and off for years to find this game again since my copy will no longer work, thanks to evil DRM the company laced the floppy with.

[ADMIN EDIT: We're not a call back service, thanks]

Alright, my bad. I figured that since the first poster had requested it by email it wouldn't be a problem.

But how should I go about getting this game then? eMule has never worked on my computer, so that line is dead. My emails to the publishers either bounce or go unanswered (and they have yet to ship the add-ons I ordered 2+ years ago when my game was still working), and I've yet to find a copy of the game anywhere else. To my knowledge I'm not asking for anything illegal, and certainly not anything immoral, as I already purchased the game.

I suppose I could wait for a copy to pop up on eBay, but I figured I'd have a better chance asking people here. If that's frowned on, I'll continue my search elsewhere, but I'd obviously appreciate help.

Try searching through abandonware sites, we don’t support the distribution of abandonware so we can’t provide you with any links. Though check The Underdogs links section to find some good sites, or use torrents. Aside from that there’s not much we can do if the game is still able to be legally purchased, sorry.

That's the thing - as far as I can tell, it's not still available for purchase, despite the site still being up. I never received the add-ons I ordered, and I've been told by others that they haven't received the game itself after ordering it.

That said, I don't expect you guys to find some magic fix for my problem, I'm just trying to explain myself here. I understand that you have rules. :)
I haven't had any luck so far with torrents or Google, but I'll check some of those sites out. Thanks.

This wouldn't happen to be the game you're after would it?
