It must be a bayman thing. It's been about 15 years since I heard of anyone getting "Screeched In".

Nevertheless TSM, we have our own brands of beer that nobody else in Canada or the world can buy: Black Horse, Labatt Lite, Dominion Ale, Quidi Vidi, and maybe more. The Black Horse and Dominion Ale have 5% alcohol, Labatt Lite has 4% alcohol, and QV I can't remember.

A dozen beer costs about $22.00 CDN or $24.00 AUD. 375 mL (14 oz) of most 40% alcohol is about $13.00 CDN or about $14.15 AUD.

Also we have Blueberry wine, some Iceberg-liquors, etc. Suffice it to say that Prohibition would surely fail here.

And of course, as mentioned before, Screech Rum, the most famous, which originally came from Jamaica, fishermen sold their fish for rum.

I myself am 100% sober 100% of the time, even though Newfoundland has a strong alcohol industry, even a whole street in St. John's called George Street is almost all bars and nightclubs.

The provincial government owns a lot of Liquor Stores, and convenience stores can sell beer.

Former Premier Roger Grimes wasted about $30 million to renovate the Liquor Stores.

You're not the only one suffering here. In 2009, the 11th falls on a Sunday. =(

It's two years away, and I'm already depressed.

Of course, in 3 days, I can just cross the border and get pissed out of my mind any time I damn well please.

Well, all the evidence is here on the forum, it just takes someone as desperately bored as Larry Laffer to go back and read ALL 60,000+ posts.

Actually, I believe I can honestly say that I've read every (non-spam) post ever made of this forum, but granted, I have access to all the hidden forums and HAVE had 5 years to read 'em.

2 more days!!!

It looks as though my past has resurfaced...

The Kazer0 crisis, the emotional outbursts, the Dogbreath MSN counseling sessions, the 486 Player spoof, the numerous quick resignations, the "Null" incidents, the emotional outbursts, the demands for forum overhaul, the identity overhauls, the 12 or so names I've had, the Draegonis phpBB crisis, the Heimidal Holy War on Gay Issues, the self-reassurance, the [censored] crisis, the abrupt resignation from Wally's Extreme Gaming, the list goes on and on...

Let me create a topic (don't lock it for at least 1 week), and I can explain what's happened.

I can assure you this, if I knew back then what I know now, and if I was 23 instead of 21 back in 2004, I'm almost certain that NONE of this would have happened.

Now off to create my topic...
