on vplanet there is a game called quest in the rpg section. that is a text adventure game.

I used to do Qbasic back in primary school. As stated before, the graphics are very very limiting and hard to control. But hey, it was nice and simple for loops and little apps.

I think C++ is the way to go, but that's just me.

Why does everyone think that QBasic has limited graphics? I've made many great games using QBasic - not spectacularor anything, but there is a lot that can be done! Sometimes you have to write your own subroutines using certain commands, and it would all be improved using various libraries, assembly code, etc. - but QBasic CAN do a lot!
Also, doesn't it take hundreds more lines of code in C or C++ to do anything? Are graphics even possible (without hundreds or so to just change a line or pixel or something like that)?
Either way, QBasic is a lot easier and much more fun to do anything with.

Hey Vangar, you forget somthing. it doen't play sound correctly or the way you like. But yaaa it is still the best programming language I learnt ever. The reason is the same as yours.

Either way, QBasic is a lot easier and much more fun to do anything with.

I am happy now..

And I said before QBasic is a good way to make idea a real thing.
