Old DOS game involving a gnome-type man in a temple.

Hello,
I am currently looking for an old DOS game I use to play when I was young. I can't remember the name, but I remember the main character being a gnome type man (or a man with a white beard). I'm pretty sure he wore a pointy red hat. Anyway, it took place in a temple and big spiders came down and tried to kill you. It might've had the name "ancient" in the title, but I'm not certain. I've looked up games with titles that included "ancient", "temple", "gnome", but haven't found anything.

Any help is appreciated.

Yes it does. I didn't play it, but one of my kindergarden friends did.

Did he have a net tht he caught things in?
