I'm trying to run Xwing via DOSBOX, the DOS emulator. I drag the "XWINGCD.BAT" file onto the DOSBOX executable, and this happens :

CM: Dragging is a simple way to get games to work in DOSBox, It just skips the whole mounting process. As in, rather then mounting the drive then loading folders etc, you drag the game shortcut over the DOSBox executable and the game runs.
Nivan: Try running the game straight out. X-Wing/B-Wing/Tie Fighter all work under normal XP on my laptop. If that fails you then DOSBox isn’t the tool you should be using. Since it’s a Lucas Arts game try ScummVM, but really just try the straight out thing first, it should work. If the two previous methods fail you try VDM Sound, it’s been known to help get the game working.
