Except now I'm 19. And my name's Elizabeth (...not really).Da_Goat wrote:I'm tired so I'll just post a little and add on more later

I'll add more later. BTW, zz8, I'm impressed. You told us your real age.
What's up, guys? Long time, no talk, eh? I couldn't get into my old account for some reason, so I made a new one. I was just thinking about all my online buddies the other day, so I thought I'd see how you were all doing. I wish I could sit here all day long like I used to four years ago, but my life's gotten more complicated. It's okay, though - it's made me healthier.

May I be the first to say: holy shit! I haven't seen you in about two years! If you were standing right in front of me, I'd hug you.
The boards are the same as ever, but the people have changed quite a bit. Emmzee is still here, I'm still here, and Thunderdog is lurking around somewhere. (He'll probably start posting like mad as soon as he sees you're here) Kazer0 is still kind of here, and Wardrich and JTA drop by now and again. Other than that, this forum is populated by a bunch of hopeless newbies. Oh, you're still in the top 10 posters I think...
Anyway, I'm 18 and out of school, Wardrich is 20ish, Emmzee's around 25, and TD is... 16. Things are a bit different from the bunch of Junior High students posting on the ghetto boards 5 years ago, but some things haven't changed. Now that you're back, we have all the people to restart an old thread... (check GOT in a minute =D)
Also, due to your constant ranting about his writing, I've officially read every single book and almost every short story Orson Scott Card wrote. (Including the new one, Shadow of the Giant) I must say, he's probably my favorite author right now.
Oh, check your PMs, you should be able to get back into your old account now. (Do you still have MSN Messenger, btw?)

Healthy!? You sold out and got a life =\. Good to see you again, nontheless. I heard you were doing missionary work. If you still use MSN, I want to ask you stuff about that.Togada wrote:Except now I'm 19. Dogbreath, I don't have MSN messenger. I'm actually on my mom's computer (mine is still busted...in fact, I don't know where it is, and frankly, don't care), and she has asked me politely to not install or download anything I don't have to.
Dude, I'm a fraud. I read two or so chapters of SotG and got sidetracked with something else. Next thing I knew, my two weeks were up and I had to bring the book back to the library. I really should read it, but now it's been so long I'd need to reread the entire series. Talk about intimidating...
So everybody's old, huh? Doesn't growing up suck? I miss sitting in front of the computer and stuffing my face with cheetos and not worrying about when or if or how my next paycheck is coming and getting fat and not giving a flying duck about it. Aw, that was the life...
TD, not missionary work, per se. I'm preaching door to door, yes, but it's in my home town (not that it couldn't be elsewhere...I'm just way too comfortable where I am). It's really the same thing I've been doing since I was eight; my activity in it has just increased. As I said above, I don't use MSN, but if you want to discuss it, you could email me. My new(est) email is d a g o a t @ g m a i l . c o m. You know, without the spaces.
Anyway, I'm off to check this PM...
EDIT: Hey dude, that's cool, but is there anyway to get my current email on that account? I tried to change it the usual way, but it said that that email is already being used on another account (this one). I'm sure the solution is obvious, but it's 12:30 and I've been working for 8 hours, so I really don't have the brain power to find it.

And I’m back.
Anybody miss me?
Ahhh what’s all this talk about real life? I came here to get away from that damn it!

Hey Julie's back! How's it going, haven't seen you on MSN in ages, how's school going? And did you ever get that thing sorted that we were talking about last time we spoke?
