The game from "Big"

I'm on an old computer game binge and cant seem to remember the name of the game that kid plays in the movie <A HREF="http://www.movies2go.net/review/Big.html">"Big"</A> starring Tom Hanks. The movie is form the 80's or early 90's from what I can remember and is about a kid who wishes to be big on some Zoltar game. Anyhow, I remember him playing some graphical RPG at the beginning of the movie with some knight or wizard doing something. I remember that game from the movie, but I'm not sure if it's a real game.....I had the feeling it was fictional. Anyway, I'm pretty sure it was CGA graphics from the movie....

Ok, I just found the copy of "Big" and the game shows a night and some snowman (old CGA graphics?) and the kid is like "melt snowman" and and the game asks "what do you want to melt him with?" That about all I have to go on right now.

yep thats all they show in the game, but i just seen the movie on amc last night and myself am wondering if this game is real? i'd hope it is, looks very interesting.

Here's my post from that thread, it should clear up this issue:

I spent awhile searching the web for this "game" one day and came to the conclusion that it does not really exist and was faked for the movie. Either that, or its some unknown game that no one has ever heard of, which seems extremely unlikely seeing as how that game would have been pretty advanced for that time period / computer technology.

The closest game I found was "Adventures in Serenia", aka "Wizard and the Princess", one of the earliest PC graphic adventure games ... by Sierra! (Their 2nd graphic adventure game ever, after Mystery House.) Unfortunately judging from the review, its pretty crappy even by the standards of 1986, and it is obviously NOT the game from Big, but you can download it from:

So AFAIK this was unfortunately not a real game.

Darn. That game looked to be a pretty interesting game tho. I downloaded that AGS, i'd like to make a game of my own.
