DOS Games on Windows

How do you get DOS games like Halloween Harry to work on Windows XP?
I tried checking the compatibility mode to Windows 95 - but it doesn't work.

ok....heres wat u do... first u have to download a software called...
<a href="http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/dosb ... >DOSbox</a>
Once u install that....u place a copy of DOSbox in the folder where the DOS game is there, and then drag and drop the .exe file of the game on the shortcut of DOSbox and the game starts ....ENJOY
