DOS and Win98

Post by GhostRider »

Wondering if you knew how I could get Dune 2000 and Indiana Jones Fate of atlantis both to work on my Windows xp home pc. I have the dune 2000 cd but when I put it in my cd rom I go to my computer and it doesnt even show up like its not even in my cd rom. I also have the Indiana Jones cd and it does the same exact thing when I put it in my cd rom. Now all my newer games are fine my cd rom has no problem reading then Dune 2000 in Windows 98 and Indiana Jones is DOS so I have no idea what to do. Both cd's have not 1 scratch on them they are perfectly clean. Please try and help. thx

Well I'm not sure about Indiana Jones but I have Dune 2000, so I can try installing it on my XP pc later and see if I can get it running.

I seriously doubt that would work, Dune 2000 isn't that old. But then again I guess it can't hurt to try.

This is DOSBox.

Basicully it’s an open source emulator designed to create a DOS like environment so you can play DOS based games on OS like Linux, Mac OSX, XP etc. You need it to play many old games that would not normally run on those OS.
